Founder, President, and Chief Technology Officer at Image Insight Inc, a technology development firm providing innovative solutions in support of homeland security and defense markets. Inventor of two defense/intelligence technologies: video-based radiation detection and Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance (ISR) imagery analysis.Spacecraft radiation shielding and pulse-power/alternative energy R&D.Developed strategic business plans and framework for commercialization of these technologies.As an Information Warfare- and Space-qualified navy reserve officer, I support naval efforts in the air, space and cyber domains. Leading and participating in interdisciplinary teams to solve challenging national security challenges continues to be an inspiring companion to my Image Insight career. I am currently the Commanding Officer of the Reserve Mobilization Center augmentation unit and the Reserve Space Cadre Advisor. Select previous navy experience includes: Executive Officer of a Navy Reserve Information Warfare unit, a one-year period of active duty to support the U.S. Navy\'s European and African component command and the 6th Fleet at its headquarters in Napoli, Italy.Previously, I served on the faculty of Yale University and Smith College Astronomy Departments and as a U.S. National Science Foundation International Research Scholar at the U.S. Observatory in Chile at Cerro Tololo.
