I lead a team of 13 procurement professionals, which are responsible for setting procurement best practices for the Global Procurement Division. Responsibilities include setting and optimization of the operational and organizational structure, process design, application of IT-relevant procurement systems, Procurement Controlling, Project Management, as well as improvement and automation of processes along adjoined functions within the company and Governance & Compliance.One of the major topics currently is developing Sustainable Procurement within the Procurement Division. Including: German Supply Chain Act, Secondary Raw Materials, ESG, SDG, Sustainability Rating, EU Taxonomy, Contact for external requests. Collaboration with Solar Association, SBTi as well as achieving Company and Board Goals.

I’m an experienced procurement leader and have worked across various commodities in direct as well as indirect procurement. Currently, I enjoy heading a department of procurement professionals at SMA, a leading specialist in photovoltaic system technology. After spending time in the Denver, Colorado office, I’m currently based in the company’s headquarter in Germany. Next to leading the department I am developing Sustainable Procurement in the Division.I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Engineering and have completed an MBA in General Management at Darmstadt Business School.
