I am tax professional and a certified public accountant providing services to private and public companies in the Greater Seattle Area. I have 15+ years of experience leading teams providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax consulting services in a variety of industries for multinational corporations. Currently, I lead a team at Amazon responsible for overseeing the tax reporting and compliance aspects of significant transactions such as M&A, internal restructurings, and other new business initiatives. Additionally, our team oversees tax accounting policy for all non-US financial statement requirements for over 90 countries encompassing multiple accounting standards such as IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, FRS 101/102, India AS, and many other Local GAAPs. Our team is also responsible for the planning and central coordination of external audits of income taxes assisting our teams by providing standardized processes and automated tools enabling our teams to scale as Amazon grows.
