Single threaded leader responsible for opening GEU2 – a new 1.2MM SQFT Amazon cross-dock facility in Glendale, AZ. Hired 45 salaried leaders (2 Sr Ops, 9 Ops Managers, 34 Area Managers), while staffing 800+ hourly associates. Partnered with construction teams and Amazon internal to bring the project to life. Since launch, directly responsible for all metrics of the $175MM operation.Direct supervision of Inbound, Outbound, and Quality functions, with dotted line reporting of Safety, HR, IT, Maintenance, LP, and Procurement. Effectively created positive work culture while simultaneously pushing towards best in class results. As such, GEU2 experiences the lowest attrition and highest attendance in the node, while also one of the top 3 performing cross-dock sites in the Amazon nIXD network.Trusted Regional Director proxy, responsible for oversight of 7 similar warehouses across the country.Identified process improvement opportunities leading to mechanical solutions that have scaled across the entire nIXD network. 11.29% increase in throughput materialized along with a 47% reduction in associate injuries in this job function.
