About Ericka Popovich

I am a passionate environmental professional drawing on over 15 years of experience in community engagement, communications, and program leadership. My work has supported communities by fostering partnerships and cross-sector connections to drive environmental initiatives and achieve on-the-ground impacts. My professional journey has been full of amazing challenges that allowed me to grow into a strong, compassionate, and competent leader. My career started in environmental education, managing programs and natural areas, and it has grown through progressively greater leadership roles, always grounded in the environment and conservation. I am excited and energized to tackle large-scale challenges through aligning partnerships, funding, and on-the-ground innovations to effect changes at different scales and complexities. I have a Master\'s degree in Natural Resources & the Environment focused on behavior change, communication, and education from the University of Michigan with an undergraduate background in Wildlife Management from Purdue.
