You Yes You! Project is a nonprofit organization designed to encourage incarcerated men to stay connected to their children – even while in prison. In the world of criminal justice and re-entry, the children left behind and the relationship with their fathers are often a footnote. You Yes You! makes the relationship the main topic.You Yes You! creates an infrastructure for imprisoned fathers to be (and feel) supported and encouraged while also reconnecting them to their children under the age of 18. With workshops, book clubs, training, and an annual Father-Daughter Dance, Halloween Party, and Back to School celebration, You Yes You! is changing the prison model, improving outcomes upon release, and taking a holistic view at the relationship between inmates and their families.
