Provide clinical services, support, therapeutic/crisis intervention and case consultation to children in out-of-home placement (OHP) experiencing emotional and/or mental illness due to the effects of trauma caused by abuse and neglect. Provide direct clinical therapy and assessment to children who require immediate attention or are not involved with a regular therapist due to placement instability. Review cases and provide clinical consultation to OHP staff on appropriate clinical treatment for children in OHP as well as complete referrals for specialized clinical services as needed.

ABOUT ERICKA MORGAN
I have vast professional experience with the private sector of the foster care system and juvenile justice where I have worked with children ages newborn to 21 and their families. Many of my clients have been medically fragile or have experienced some form of emotional disturbance. I have had clinical experiences working at Level 5 schools, out-patient mental health centers and a residential treatment center. I have also had rewarding supervision experience serving as a supervisor of Social Workers and para-professional clinical staff. I have also served as a field instructor for The University of Maryland. I am seeking a full-time clinical or administrative position that will offer an opportunity to work with adolescents, adults and/or their families in a therapeutic and/or case management setting. I am also interested in an adjunct faculty position in the area of social work with an opportunity to teach one to two courses. Specialties: Program management, supervision, client interviewing, conflict resolution and mediation, debriefing, treatment planning, case management, family/group/individual therapy (cognitive-behavioral), trauma assessment, training and DSM IV-TR diagnosing.
