   Responsible for the verification compliance and real-time operations of all phases of flight for the vehicle until it\'s re-entry.Lead Safety Engineer for the Japanese HTV-X cargo vehicle in support of the International Space Station (ISS) with the goal of ensuring that the flight and integration operations of the vehicle will not cause any catastrophic or critical hazards for the crew or the ISS. Reviewed and provided dispositions on the verification compliance notices (VCNs) to ensure requirement traceability down to the verification test/analysis/inspection/audit. Reviewed well over 120 safety requirements that led to the successful certification of flight for HTV-X before launch. Communicated with our Japanese colleagues to ensure the transfer of information, data, and tests to our subject matter experts (SMEs). Presented and resolved issues with high visibility to the ISS Program involving the safety and mission success of the HTV-X vehicle and its missions.
