I am currently working as the Transportation Specialist at a high end assisted living community. Following the completion of the 4G rollouts the telecom project management companies downsized significantly. I used the opportunity to explore other options where my professional demeanor and management expertise could be put to good use. Providing transportation to senior citizens has proved to be such an opportunity. However, with the recent COVID pandemic residency rates have dropped significantly and the need for a dedicated person to provide transportation services has diminished as well. As a result I am currently looking for a full or part time position where my professional background and personal demeanor would be appreciated. I am an experienced, flexible and adaptable Engineering Manager with a BS in Civil Engineering, and have worked in telecoms for 14+ years; the southeast market for 8+ years on deployments for AT & T, Verizon, and other carriers. Because of my extensive and varied background in general civil, geotechnical, structural and environmental engineering I bring a unique set of skills to the table not likely to be found in someone who has concentrated on only structural or site development design. Prior to my career in telecoms I worked in the private sector for over 25 years for various Engineering Design firms concentrating primarily on site/facility design and environmental services to heavy industry, such as coal mining and coal fired power generation, steel making, pulp and paper, petrochemincal, waste management, and industrial site remediation and redevelopment. Specialties: Management of staff and outside vendors in the design and construction of cellular communication sites, including raw land, colocations and rooftop sites. Understanding the implications of structural analysis reports as they relate to client upgrade costs is a key specialty.
