About Erich Janzen

I am a senior finance executive and consultant with 25+ years of leadership experience. I offer a consistent record of success leading finance, accounting and treasury functions for multibillion-dollar multinational businesses. I also have extensive experience in auditing and M&A activities and, throughout my career, have built and mentored best-in-class finance organizations. Earlier experience includes Assistant Controller of Dupont Photomask Austin, Texas and working as an Audit Manager with Arthur Andersen. As a result, I have well-developed accounting and finance skills and a proven ability to develop strong working relationships. Throughout my career, I have driven success through a combination of strategic thinking, effective team leadership and a creative approach to solving complex financial and organizational problems, effectively balancing big picture strategic thinking with the detail orientation needed to execute effectively.I am a CPA, hold an MBA in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a BA in Accountancy from the University of North Dakota. I have recently relocated to Sandy Springs, GA with my wife and two children.

   As one of Fiserv\'s major business units, the Financial Institutions Group offers a comprehensive and integrated suite of solutions to financial institutions, fintechs, and corporations. The Banking Organization includes Card Services which encompasses debit, credit, and network solutions; Bill Payment, Biller, P2P and other non-card payments; Digital Banking, and Account Processing. We earn the privilege to serve over clients spanning the large FI to the most creative local credit union. Our #1 asset is our human capital, comprised of tireless colleagues in product, technology, sales, coverage, marketing, compliance, finance, and legal. This role also includes oversight for settlement for Fiserv globally with funds movement of $25 billion/day in settlement transactions for acquiring, issuing, prepaid and check processes. In his role, he also performs governance over the global settlement processes engaging settlement personnel in all regions weekly to discuss metric variations, issues, implementations and deviations within the control environment. Erich is also leading settlement integration efforts as part of the First Data/Fiserv acquisition. He is driving change by partnering with Microsoft to create an infrastructure in a cloud based environment to streamline and enhance reconciliation practices with the use of azure data lakes, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
