ABOUT ERIC FRANCIS MANU
I’ve always believed that a professional should grow in more than one direction. Your career is important, but so is your mindset. Your qualification matters, but so does your behaviour. And your skills matter — but so does the way you carry yourself in different cultural and social spaces. That belief shaped my entire journey and eventually led me to create The British Protocol Academy. My background sits at the intersection of etiquette, international protocol, diplomacy, coaching, and education. I’ve worked across Financial Services, Corporate environments, and Academic institutions — experiences that have taught me how much presence, communication, and mindset can influence success. My academic path includes the University of Cambridge and ongoing executive studies at Harvard Business School, where I continue to challenge myself to grow in new dimensions. But titles aside, I am driven by a simple idea:People rise when their thinking, behaviour, and exposure rise with them. That’s why I’m passionate about helping professionals upgrade their executive presence, build global networks, and carry themselves in ways that open doors — in the boardroom, in business, and in international spaces.I also believe strongly in collaboration. No one grows alone, and no organisation becomes truly global without learning, partnering, and connecting. So I’m always open to conversations about corporate staff training, organisational etiquette and protocol development, diplomatic communication, personal branding, and all the good work that helps people show up better.Along the way, I wrote The Art of Social Grace, and I host the Manners Maketh Mic podcast — a platform where I sit with thought leaders to talk about culture, leadership, and what it means to represent yourself well in today’s world.I’ve been humbled to receive recognitions such as the Global Commonwealth Hospitality Award and The Big Ben Award — becoming the first Black and minority recipient at the UK House of Parliament. My work has also been featured by CCTV, Phoenix TV, the Financial Times, Professional Wealth Management, and K12 Digest Magazine. All of this reinforces something I deeply believe:Your presence is a message. Your behaviour is a statement. And your mindset is your real credential. If you want to elevate your brand image, train your team intentionally, or expand your organisation’s global presence through structured etiquette, protocol, and diplomacy training, I’m always open to a conversation.Email me: h••••@thebritishprotocolacademy.comBPA: thebritishprotocolacademy.com
