My current professional interest is in leveraging the frameworks and methodology that I have developed, tested, validated, and successfully applied in many companies around the world.by creating a global network of trained, licensed, and certified Affiliates & Associates. Our current affiliates group includes Argentina, Bulgaria, China, Israel, Italy, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russia, The Ukraine, and Vietnam. We seek applications from highly qualified affiliates anywhere in the world.One of our signature clients Is Starbucks, where I began work when it was relatively small and helped put in the foundation for sustainable successful growth. Others have included American Century Investors, Amgen, Guggenheim Partners, IBM, Johnson & Johnson subsidiaries, Kusto Group (Singapore, Vietnam, Kazakhstan), Movenpick Gastronomy (Europe), Neutrogena, Navistar International, Riverside Group (China), PIMCO, Simon Property Group, Techcombank (Vietnam), Westfield\'s (Australia and US) and many lesser known but high quality firms. Our aim is to help them become best of class leaders in their space.I also enjoy writing and publishing books and articles. My most recent books are a new edition of \"Growing Pains: Building Sustainably Successful Organizations,\"(Wiley, 2016); Building Family Business Champions (Stanford University Press, 2016); and Corporate Culture: The Ultimate Strategic Asset (Stanford University Press, 2011), all co-authored with Yvonne Randle.I am Professor Emeritus (Recalled) at the Anderson School at UCLA,where I do occasional Executive Development programs. I also regularly teach in programs in China. My personal interests are varied and include theater, college athletics (Go Bruins! Go Blue!); tournament Texas Holdem poker; and travel. I have traveled to several of the beautiful and interesting places in the world, including Easter island, Rwanda, Petra, Lhasa, and the Galapagos.
