1. Design Verification Engineer - Power Integrity

   Microsoft

   Nov 2018 — Present

   After delivering in the Motherboard role, I seized an opportunity in the Power subsystem for new product designs. Testing includes voltage regulator verification by designing and performing load and line regulation testing, regulator transient response testing, point of load testing and consumption testing across typical user loads and scenarios. I work collaboratively with circuit design, layout, firmware and software teams to ensure that Microsoft delivers the best experience to our customers. I am actively growing my knowledge of power distribution networks in consumer electronics, high volume manufacturing, and continuing my growth in test automation. I currently enjoy developing and executing comprehensive test plans and I have an entirely new suite of measurements and characterization to automate. While my role still includes international travel for factory build support, the power subsystem affords more opportunities to interface directly with silicon suppliers and the Windows Operating System team.
