With nearly 20 years of experience in leadership roles across various sectors of public health, I possess extensive expertise in managing multiple priorities. My work includes providing technical assistance and consultation to healthcare entities, conducting pilot projects based on policy analysis, implementing large-scale system changes, and engaging in strategic planning. I have successfully facilitated diverse groups and raised millions of dollars for non-profit organizations. My commitment lies in providing vision and direction for a comprehensive and coordinated healthcare system, with a strong emphasis on quality improvement and healthcare integration.I have managed operations, fiscal responsibilities, and reporting for a hospice company, ensuring compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements set by government agencies. I\'ve co-founded and managed two non-profit organizations. Much of my career was spent at the American Cancer Society, where I worked both in Virginia and nationally, leading innovative quality improvement projects aimed at improving health outcomes in collaboration with payers, hospital systems, and safety-net clinics.I graduated from Framingham State University with a Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Health and Human Services, and I have a minor in Professional Communications.I hold numerous positions on boards and committees, including the University of Virginia Community Advisory Council, the Coalition of Modernizing Dental Licensure, and the Virginia Telehealth Network.My husband and I have two amazing children.
