ABOUT ERIC BORDUAS

I am a senior user experience analyst with 5 years of experience at Ubisoft Montréal with around 115 user research tests / initiatives on 28 differents Ubisoft projects (e.g, Rainbow Six Siege, Assassin\'s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Beyond Good and Evil 2, Skull and Bones and more), along with 5 years of academic research in behavioural neurobiology of motivation with 9 different research (including 2 thesis and 2 articles published in peer reviewed journals). My experiences showed me that I love to extend my reach with clients, avoid silo work with other research and production roles, and to tackle the most challenging and risky projects. I\'m the kind of person who\'s more comfortable when it requires to make it through chaos rather than when things are slow and smooth. I\'m also a user researcher who can go beyond providing usability, appreciation and engagement feedbacks to the game productions—always on the work to be an ally to game designers to engage players, to take informed risks, to also make innovation and new discoveries in game design and players experiences that will keep pushing their craft and the game studio forward. As someone who set its eyes on every aspects of my team, colleagues and projects, I strive to make everyone around me to fulfill themselves. With such passion for people and design projects, I am someone who shine the most when both people and project managements are tied together in my role.
