I am a first generation college graduate and professional who strives to use my story to inspire young people to reach their full potential. Through my work with College Match, a college access organization in Los Angeles, I have had the privilege to work with hundreds of high achieving high school students. Our goal is to provide these young students the same level of support and opportunity through the college application process that their more affluent peers receive from family. I believe that our students can be just as successful, when given the resources we all deserve. College Match students receive free SAT preparation, all expense paid college trips across the nation, individual college advising, and financial aid planning. I am proud of the impact our work makes on the lives of these students, their family, and our community.
