About Erica Vernon
I believe strong communities require strong institutions—and that healthcare systems, nonprofits, and philanthropy must work together to address complex challenges such as access to care, economic mobility, and community well-being. As a member of the senior leadership teams for two hospitals serving our region and through my leadership in community outreach, I have the opportunity to serve as a connector—bringing together healthcare, nonprofit, and civic partners to strengthen relationships and advance initiatives that improve community health. This work includes developing partnerships and securing strategic grant funding that enables programs designed to expand access, address community needs, and create lasting impact.I’m particularly drawn to work that brings together philanthropy, healthcare, and community leadership to create meaningful and lasting impact. Strengthening communities requires collaboration across sectors, and I value opportunities to partner with civic leaders, nonprofits, donors, and institutions to advance initiatives that improve quality of life and expand opportunity across the regions we serve.
