About Eric Anderson
Two-time Emmy nominee Eric Anderson has written and produced shows for some of the biggest stars in Hollywood, including Academy-Award-winning actor Morgan Freeman, Laurence Fishburne, Dennis Quaid, Mandy Patinkin, Debbie Allen, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Quincy Jones, and many others. Eric’s television credits include shows such as The 761st: The Original Black Panthers, History’s Greatest Mysteries, The Men Who Built America, Ice Road Truckers, Fame, Lock Up, Amazing Race, Starting Over, and numerous other series. As an executive producer, Eric created the smash BET lifestyle series “How I’m Living” and “Life Track.” Eric also created the action docudrama pilot “The Bodyguard” for the Oxygen network. As a development producer for Revelations Entertainment, Eric helped create “The Story of Us,” a NatGeo series hosted by Morgan Freeman. Eric’s other credits include writing and producing documentaries for History, Animal Planet, American Movie Classics, Fox News, PBS, Discovery, Speed, A&E Bio, BET, TLC, Tru-TV, PBS, and E! In addition to his work in entertainment, Eric has a distinguished background in broadcast news, for which he holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of California at Berkeley. As a journalist, Eric has worked for such prestigious organizations as ABC News (World News Tonight) and CNN.
