About Erica McSwain
I’m a graduate-level therapist providing care across DC, Maryland, and Virginia. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive support for clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, identity exploration, relationship concerns, and life transitions.I also bring a crisis background to my clinical work as a mental health professional, crisis counselor, certified mental health coach, and suicide prevention specialist. I’m especially committed to creating safe, affirming spaces where people can show up fully and build practical tools for healing, resilience, and self-trust.Alongside practice, I’m building a path toward counselor education.
