ABOUT ERICA KAIN
Erica Kain is a teacher certified to teach K-12 German, English, and BCIT. She brings a great love of learning into the classroom, and enjoys inspiring her students. After spending her childhood writing and programming games, Erica started a PR agency, TriplePoint Public Relations, which continues to be the leader in representing interactive entertainment clients. In her time as CEO, Erica opened a branch of the company in Munich, Germany. Erica discovered a love of teaching after homeschooling her own children, and is now known for running an inquisitive, student-centered classroom. She has taught in public school in California\'s Bay Area, as well as Sewickley Academy. She is currently in her third year of teaching for the North Hills School District in Pittsburgh, PA. Erica is also a prolific freelance writer and book reviewer, and her work has appeared on Health.com, MSNBC, and Seleni.org, as well as her own blog. She graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in German Language and Literature, and she holds a MFA in Writing from Emerson College. She earned her teaching credential from Moreland University in Washington, D.C.
