About Erica Hunt
I am a poet, essayist, teacher, and seasoned racial justice activist, with many years of experience, thinking, writing and talking about how we get free and stay free, through our language, choices, and actions. I practice a democratic pedagogy to create a community of learners and have facilitated multi-racial initiatives across class, generation, and sexual orientation to accomplish work that moved the needle toward greater justice, gender, and racial equity. Art and social justice intersect powerfully and each of us has a role in contributing to the world we want to see.
