Erica D. Ellis is a nationally certified clinician and behavioral health leader committed to reimagining how care reaches rural and underserved communities. With more than a decade of experience across clinical practice, program direction, and systems collaboration, Erica brings both heart and strategy to the evolving landscape of telehealth mental health services.As a Senior Therapist with Flourish Health, Erica provides trauma-informed and integrative behavioral health services through telehealth to children, adolescents, and adults across VA, WV, KY, Washington, D.C, OH, and PA. Her work directly supports Flourish’s mission to expand access to compassionate, evidence-based care for young people and families facing serious mental illness, particularly those in rural or underserved areas who often struggle for years to find stability and hope.Flourish’s clinical model focuses on caring for individuals that other clinics cannot or will not serve, pairing technology, science, and empathy to create pathways toward recovery. Erica\'s broad past experiences include directing federally funded rural health initiatives through HRSA, managing multi-agency grants, and partnering with schools, healthcare systems, and law enforcement to reduce stigma and enhance recovery services. As a former Chapter Chair of the WV Addiction Policy Forum, and non-profit program manager for Community Connections, Erica helped to establish and direct West Virginia’s first substance use prevention camp for children, Camp Mariposa WV, and remains a passionate advocate for prevention, education, and trauma-responsive systems of care.Erica continues to advance her mission of making mental health care more accessible, compassionate, and innovative with the hope of bridging clinical expertise with community transformation. She also helps implement strategies that expand behavioral health access and promote sustainability among clinicians serving complex and high-acuity populations.
