Recruited to assume leadership of creative, material and digital content of five-year,$30M Ready to Learn transmedia initiative funded by the U.S. Department of Education to promote English Language Development (ELD) in 3-5 year-old Spanish speaking English Language Learners (ELL) and Early Math & Literacy skills for Pre-K children across all digital platforms. • Led strategic repositioning and rebranding using recognized children’s property, Pocoyo, following grant amendment and change in business partnership.• Turned around the delivery timeframe of 5 modules in three years by delivering 9 of 18 remaining Early Language Development (ELD), Early Literacy and Early Math educational units that include preschooler apps, games, and classroom materials, within one year.• Steered team to develop and produce 30-second on-air interstitials targeted to parents about importance of reading. • Collaborated with Early Language Development National Advisory Board and Teacher Advisory Board from 40+ pilot sites across the U.S. and Puerto Rico to gather and incorporate feedback about classroom materials, apps, etc.
