About Erica Bachman
I’ve always been passionate and driven to learn new things and help others. I started my career in education and had the joy of teaching little ones and inspiring them to be curious. The inspiration and curiosity I encouraged my students to have is what got me into programming. It started out as a hobby; I spent my free time learning on freeCodeCamp. Before I knew it, I developed a passion for coding. Coding is fascinating, fun, and it allows me to channel my creativity and love for problem-solving. My interest in coding led me to enroll as a Java Student in Tech Elevator’s coding bootcamp. After graduating from Tech Elevator, I joined the CGI team as a.NET software developer consultant. As a person, I’m a hard-working, disciplined individual. I’ve always used my work ethic in a strategic way to find solutions to problems. When working on a team I use my empathy to encourage and bring out the best in others. I’m thrilled to be part of CGI and the tech community as I continue to grow my technical skills and establish myself as a leader within CGI and the community.
