ABOUT ERICA SCOGNO

Erica Scogno has built an impressive academic and professional career as a marketing intern and content creator in her first year working in the digital media and marketing industry. In 2024, she was selected to become a part of the Olympus Leadership Series, a program that recognizes emerging leaders for their commitment to professional growth and communication excellence. Scogno has also gained experience as a barista, food service associate, and caretaker. Academically, Scogno is a junior media and culture major with a minor in digital marketing at West Chester University of Pennsylvania, maintaining a 3.7 GPA. She will graduate in May 2027, in the field of strategic communication and digital marketing. Scogno is an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) and the Alpha Phi Sorority, where she currently serves as Vice President of PRSSA and Philanthropy Event Coordinator for Alpha Phi. These leadership roles have enriched Scogno by strengthening her communication, teamwork, and event planning abilities while allowing her to grow as a leader and support her peers on campus. Professionally, Scogno works as a marketing intern at PointSolve Technology, playing a major role in content creation, events, and market research. In this position, she has learned to value the importance of strategic communication and branding, using tools such as Canva and blog writing as a means of expanding the company’s outreach and clients. Her work has taught her to combine creativity with strategy, while using classroom learning into practical marketing applications that support business goals. Outside of work and school, Scogno likes to shop and stay active by exercising. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, trying new cafes, and traveling to new places. These experiences allow her to relax, become inspired, and always bring a balanced, fun approach to her academic and professional life.
