ABOUT ERICA OLSEN

From the time I was a child, dressing up as a fashion designer on Halloween at 5 years old, I knew I would be a part of the retail industry. I am an experienced leader in purchasing with 17 years of retail and wholesale experience and an MBA graduate with extensive business knowledge. As a leader in purchasing, I have worked at several diverse,$25B+ retailers ranging from grocery and specialty to ecommerce, off-price and department stores. In my career I have generated over $100m annual revenues in my respective departments and grown businesses year over year. In the last 5 years, I have led teams of 3-19 people, developing 8 team members to achieve higher level promotions. Some of my passions include leading high performing teams, developing employees, strategic business development, financial planning, building strong relationships and partnerships both internally and externally and finalizing great win-win negotiations. I’m also a great communicator and love working on teams. My past teams have been high performing and models for other teams in the company. My aspirations include obtaining a leadership position in the retail industry and continue to add value with my leadership, strategic development, planning and product merchandising skill sets.
