I thrive on uncovering the intricate context of human experiences. I have twenty years of experience in design, ethnographic research, and rapid innovation for industries including education, healthcare, tech, railroad, and supply chain. I am also an adjunct professor teaching the User Experience Track for the Master of Health Informatics program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I lead teams in the design and execution of Design Research for a variety of clients across numerous industries using a spectrum of formal to informal methods: field observations, user/stakeholder interviews, surveys, contextual inquiry, journaling, concept testing, and user testing. I construct narratives to fire the imagination and inspire action to paint a vision of the future.
