m the founder and principal of PIVOT Creative & Consulting, a boutique firm that helps nonprofits grow stronger, raise more money, and create lasting impact in the communities they serve. With more than 25 years of experience in fundraising, communications, organizational development, and strategic planning, I specialize in building the strategies, systems, and stories that inspire support and drive results. At the heart of my work is a deep commitment to people—both the generous donors who want to make a difference and the nonprofit leaders advancing bold missions. I help donors align their resources with the causes they care about, while supporting organizations in developing transformational fundraising campaigns, board and leadership development, capacity building, and brand alignment. My strengths lie in storytelling, strategic communications, and data-informed planning—using benchmarking, assessment, and goal-setting to enhance outcomes and measure success. Over the years, I’ve partnered with a wide range of organizations in health, education, the arts, the environment, and youth empowerment. Notable collaborations include Microsoft’s Give Back Challenge, USDA’s Institute for Food and Agriculture, the national agInnovation brand, University of Nevada, Reno, Community Health Alliance, Big Sur Land Trust, Courage Worldwide, St. Jude’s Ranch for Children, Nevada School of the Arts, and independent schools such as Sage Ridge School, Stevenson School, Providence High School, and Bishop Manogue Catholic High School, among many others. I currently serve on the Board of the Nevada Women’s Fund, and I am a past president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Monterey Bay Chapter. I hold a Master’s degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. When I’m not advising organizations to dream big and achieve ambitious goals, I can be found hiking, skiing, and adventuring in the Reno–Tahoe region with my husband, three sons, and our beloved dog, Bear.
