ABOUT ERICA BAUER
On a mission to prove that access to quality and affordable healthcare is a right, not a privilege. I plan to accomplish this by working in positions or gaining experience in roles that: 1) Increase access, 2) Improve what is already available, 3) Advocate for patients My drive and will to succeed prove to be a great asset to any team. I believe in doing my best, and participating in work that pushes my professional and personal limits in efforts to improve everyday. Combining my previous experience of public health campaigns, nursing school, and passion for social change, my goal is to improve the quality and safety of health care services. My passion is creating health equity and access to resources for vulnerable groups, or those who have been historically oppressed and underrepresented. I believe this can only be done through effective health communication, grassroots changes to improve health literacy, empowering patients, and systematic operations improvement. Areas of interest include: Training and development, organizational leadership, quality improvement, change management, project management, and social responsibility.
