For four years, Erica has been a dedicated sales leader at Gartner, currently overseeing a team of three Sales Managers and 18 Sales Individual Contributors, a client portfolio totaling $18 mil in revenue, and corresponding sales operations. Through effective coaching and training, strategic data tracking and analysis, creation and execution of strategic programs, and internal departmental collaboration, she has led her team to become a positive revenue business sector for the first time in history by delivering 50%/$6 mil portfolio growth and at least 75% YoY retention. She can also be credited for her sales, marketing, and operations contributions throughout her eight years at Markel Corporation prior to Gartner. During her time there, she drove double digit growth on a $110 mil book of business by promoting 15 products and serving as the relationship and logistics liaison among internal teams as well as between the organization and three strategic nationwide clients. Erica has achieved Winner’s Circle twice for significant overachievement on sales quotas and been honored with 10+ awards and accolades for excellence in leadership, internal partnership, and performance during her tenure at Gartner. While at Markel, she was named one of 2018’s Elite Women in Insurance. Professionally, Erica is known for getting things done and doing so in an efficient, organized, collaborative, and intentional way that leads to success.
