As someone consistently striving to improve myself and learn more about the world around me and others, I resonate with Socrates\' quote \"True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life, ourselves, and the world around us.\" I believe that there is always something new to learn, to discover, and to improve upon no matter how great we believe something already is. While I am happy to acknowledge success and give praise to those successes, I also challenge myself with getting different perspectives from various fields to round out my own views and think critically about processes and partnerships. This comes out in my leadership style, my collaboration approach, as well as my career counseling style.I am driven by listening to the stories of others and the influences of how their social environment intertwines with their personal identities. I strive to empower individuals and teams to embrace themselves and be authentic while addressing the advantages and barriers to identifying and reaching their goals.My goal is dual-pronged: first, to support individuals in attaining jobs and building careers that they find meaningful, and second, to develop organizations to be ready to support their employees in their professional growth. I believe that finding an environment that supports where each individual is and facilitates growth to where they want to be is a key factor in career satisfaction.
