The Congressional Award Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization authorized by the U.S. Congress in 1979 to reward and honor young Americans for their public service, personal development, physical fitness, and exploration activities.The National Director is responsible for promoting, publicizing, and overseeing all program operations. This includes the day-to-day operations of the program, fundraising and congressional relations.
