Serve as firmwide resource and strategic advisor for all attorney and professional services training and career development. Serve as the Business Leader to the Professional Training Committee (PTC) and collaborate to create and execute legal skills curriculum and soft skills training programs that align with the firm’s growth and business goals to recruit, develop and retain top talent. Design and execute a multi-year Associate professional development track to include benchmarks and training for various cohorts of attorneys including new attorneys, mid-levels, senior Associates and Of Counsel, including standing up bootcamps for law students and Associates in areas including trial advocacy, motions practice, deposition skills, negotiations, writing workshops and business skills. Support the firm’s summer program, including training and development of summer Associates. Support the training and learning component of firm events, retreats and conferences to ensure that all events align with firm goals relating to learning. Assess training program performance and make appropriate adjustments to continually improve the program. Partner with the Attorney Development to design and implement an engaging and effective mentor program. Manage and mentor Training and Learning assistants/coordinators/managers.
