As a Community Relations Specialist, I am responsible for a team of independent contracted workers that are known as the Street Team. I attend bi-weekly project manager meetings with our project managers and project partners for the Watts Rising Redevelopment. I convene monthly Street Team and project management coordination meetings. Advise project partners on community engagement strategies in the planning phases of each project. Set agendas for Public Forum and Community Engagement Working Group meetings. Set a calendar of community engagement events/efforts and promote job opportunities/ Section 3 mandates.
