Review plans and specs from Owner and General Contractor to outfit new and existing commercial and residential buildings with full fire suppression systems that are compliant with NFPA standards and local codes- Performed detailed hydraulic calculations to ensure accurate water supply, pressure loss, and optimal system performance to certify the safety of the fire sprinkler systems- Prepare and submit design submittals, shop drawings, hydraulic and seismic calculations, and equipment data to contractors and local authorities for permitting and code compliance- Executed hydrant flow test to provide hydraulic water flow data for different public utility providers- Collaborate with architects and other trades to ensure efficient and smooth transition from design to installation to minimalize conflicts on site and cost to our company- Conduct on site visits with superintendents and union sprinkler fitters to problem solve on the go changes and assure code compliance and clientele satisfaction- Oversee and facilitate RFI’s and other documentation received from general contractors and subcontractors- Work with subcontractors and internal teams to oversee the installation, testing and commissioning of fire sprinkler systems- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting or exceeding project milestones and deadlines.
