ABOUT ERIC T.

As a first-generation college student, I am proud to be graduating in May with a degree in Management Information Systems with three certifications. My ambition and strong work ethic have driven me since I started working at 14 in my high school cafeteria. Before attending the University of Idaho, I spent four years in customer-facing roles at Target and Costco Wholesale, where I honed my communication and problem-solving skills. During my time at U of I, I have actively pursued professional growth, working in Information Technology for over 1.5 years and holding more than six on-campus jobs across various roles to develop a well-rounded skill set. One of my most rewarding experiences has been co-founding and leading the Management Information Systems Club, now one of the most recognized and active student organizations in the College of Business and Economics. As President, I have helped lead and organize 14 events in just one year of the clubs creation, consistently engaging 10–15 students per session. My team also coordinated two major industry tours: one at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories PCB manufacturing facility in Moscow, ID, and another in Seattle, WA, where we visited Microsoft, Google, Starbucks, and Brighton Jones with a group of 20 students. As I prepare for my next chapter, I am excited to apply my passion for technology in Boise, ID. I am open to opportunities that will challenge me, expand my expertise, and allow me to make an impact in the field.
