I love aerospace and all things aviation, as well as mechanical design As a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Waterloo, I am driven by a deep passion for aerospace, robotics, and innovative design. I thrive in environments where engineering meets creativity, using my skills in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and MATLAB to bring complex ideas to life. My experience spans structural aerospace design, mechanical systems, and advanced prototyping, with a strong foundation in GD & T, FEA simulations, and 3D printing. At Waterloo Rocketry, I engineered a launch tower base that improved strength by optimizing materials and ensuring compliance with rigorous safety standards. Additionally, my work on WatArrow’s aircraft components led to a large weight reduction and cost savings—demonstrating my ability to balance performance, efficiency, and manufacturability. Beyond aerospace, I’ve led mechanical design projects like the motorized Electrium sofa, where I integrated bike-inspired braking mechanisms and lightweight chassis design to maximize efficiency and safety. My hands-on fabrication experience in laser cutting, machining, and soldering enables me to seamlessly transition from concept to prototype. I am currently seeking internship and co-op opportunities in aerospace, mechanical design, and engineering in general where I can apply my skills to real-world challenges.
