As a Genesis Fellow at BBYO, I work directly with Jewish teens (grades 8–12) to build meaningful programming, foster leadership, and strengthen community engagement across the Liberty Region. My role combines youth mentorship, program development, and community outreach to inspire the next generation of Jewish leaders.Key Responsibilities:•Mentor and train teen leaders to develop strong chapter cultures and grow membership.•Collaborate with teens to design impactful, innovative, and fun programs.•Guide chapters in creating annual calendars that drive engagement and recruitment.•Build and maintain relationships with parents, volunteers, and community partners.•Recruit new members and promote participation in BBYO’s summer and regional programs.•Support large-scale regional events, including overnight conventions and summer leadership experiences.•Assist in managing regional communications (email, newsletters, and social media) and track membership data to drive growth.Program Highlights:•Two-year fellowship with rotational experiences across BBYO departments.•Cohort-based leadership development, mentorship, and professional coaching.•Opportunities to staff international conventions and direct summer leadership programs.
