About Eric Richardson

Dr. Richardson\'s Thesis Project at Baker College was to design a Content Management Server (CMS) to be used at ATA. A lot like Blackboard or Moodle, the CMS allowed teachers design courses that gave students the ability to take exams, do assignments, and submit documents from any computer that can access the internet. Dr. Richardson\'s team was working toward \"infus[ing] technology as an instructional tool across all content areas in all grade levels.\"(ATA School Technology Plan 20••••12, p. 15) The unique part of the project, unlike Blackboard or Moodle, was the project\'s direct access to the students\' and instructors\' Google Accounts documents. His primary role on the project was as Project Manager. Dr. Richardson\'s Thesis at The Ohio State University was a Title II and National Science Foundation-funded laboratory manual for high school and undergraduate physics. The manual incorporated suggestions and modifications for Gardner\'s Multiple Intelligences, socioeconomic diversity, best practices, technological integration, and special education accommodations for each lab experience. Dr. Richardson began the research at OSU and finished it at Saginaw Valley State University. Dr. Eric Richardson has been teaching chemistry, biology, math and computer science for over 24 years. He is an avid soccer player, coach and referee. His other hobbies include recording and mastering music. He is the owner and mastering engineer of goodstuffbox, a recording and mastering studio located in the Detroit Metro area. goodstuffbox has remixed and mastered music performed at the Masonic Temple and directed theater performances at Henry Ford Community College, Ross Stokes Theater in Petoskey, the Cheboygan Opera House, and other stages.
