About Eric Prins
I am an IT professional with over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of disciplines. For the better part of the last 8 years, I have supported the Workforce Software Time & Attendance application. Using SalesForce as our ticketing system, and Teams for remote communications, I provided current updates and resolution statuses to the customers. Writing SQL queries and reading log/trace files was standard procedure. The Time and Attendance application is a full HR ERP, and produces the final data file to be sent to payroll. I am comfortable working with SQL and Oracle databases, can read and follow most scripting languages, and proficient in the MS Office suite. I have in the past coded in C (both Unix & Windows), C++, VB, VBScript, Java, and HTML. I’m a quick and eager learner for any technologies that I am not as experienced on, and welcome training - both online & in person. My greatest strength is working with customers (in or out of house) to resolve their issues. I am quite comfortable speaking on a less technical level to those outside of the IT community, and happy to present/instruct demos and training.
