About Eric Paulsen

I was talking to a friend of mine the other day, and we got into the realm of trying to figure out who we are and how we want to be viewed by others. I lost the bet, so I get to post my answer. I am a leader, by example and by personality. I like working with people and gain a lot of satisfaction in bringing out their best and by making people around me successful. People like to work with and for me. Why? Because they know they are around someone who has their best interest in mind, who wants to succeed, who communicates, listens, is willing to take the time to instruct and does it with a smile. My job as a leader is to make sure they can do their job, grow and be a part of something bigger than themselves. I like to give credit where it is due and train where needed. A deserved compliment and a willingness to work side by side in the trenches when needed generates the loyalty and willingness to work hard that is sorely missing in today\'s work environment. That is how I would like to be viewed. And going forward, I will not do \"scissors\" twice in a row.
