Experienced human rights and international development professional with 15 years working with international NGOs and UN agencies on human rights and poverty reduction. Currently a J.D. candidate at the City University of New York School of Law focusing on housing justice and eviction defense, graduating May 2023. Previous experience includes working on mainstreaming human rights in various roles at the United Nations, and coordinating humanitarian assistance efforts in Darfur, Sudan. Strong research and analytical skills, with expertise in human rights issues, including marginalized minorities, indigenous rights issues, and extreme poverty. Highly adaptable, with experience coordinating inter-agency working groups and leading teams.Also experienced in housing practice, tenant advocacy and eviction defense of low-income New Yorkers, having extensive training with a number of New York legal aid service providers and in housing focused Clinics at CUNY Law. Passionate about anti-displacement and making a positive impact on people\'s lives.
