In fact, I\'ve been awarded at least one patent or publication with every employer - from summer engineering intern to senior engineer. I\'m known as a competent, creative and practical engineer. I always start with a classical analysis, but then look at the problem from different angles to try to see the forest from the trees. I\'m hands on and productive, applying equal energy to the mission - whether it\'s a design, a process or organizational operations. I always do so with a mindset of efficiency, insight and innovation.As senior engineer at Dayton Rogers Manufacturing, I designed an unexpected new solution for their client (quickly patented) that helped establish consulting engineering as a new profit center.As GM of Dayton Rogers Machine products (a $1MM/year manufacturer of heavy equipment for the press industry) I navigated the division from six prior years of losses to become the second highest percentage profit center of 8 divisions.Prior to Dayton Rogers, I engineered the first standardized pharmaceutical depyrogenation tunnels, and oversaw installation of the first pharmaceutical oven in a class 10 clean room. Later at Despatch, I ran teams of up to ten engineers and designers in a fast paced environment producing heavy duty custom heat processing systems for industry. At INCSTAR (now Diasorin) I worked for 1 1/2 years out of 4 working on the biochemistry for a radioimmunoassay device. My work on the bench was later published in the Journal of the Endocrine Society.At TSI I developed fluid flow sensors and NBS traceable flow calibration devices for both science and industry.As a summer intern at Truth, I received 3 patents, one of which went on to become their biggest selling window operator to this day.

   Engineering of smart caps for the healthcare industry. These are small devices that will trigger a signal each time thenbottle is opened. They will then instruct the user as to the propper dosage and simultaneously signal a central database that the medication has been taken on time. These bottles are engineered to adapt easily to a wide variety of pharmaceutical bottles.
