I am a public health leader with 15 years of experience in end-to-end program management and health systems strengthening initiatives funded by The Global Fund, Gates Foundation, and the US government. I bring a uniquely hands-on, field-driven approach, from data-driven national strategic and operational planning to district-level triangulation of routine and survey data to guide micro-planning and implementation. I work closely with health departments, UN agencies, communities, and the private sector on high impact programs. My core expertise and achievements are as follows:Disease surveillance & monitoring (HIV, TB, COVID & Malaria/Vector-borne diseases) •Managed the design and implementation of indicator-based, event-based and sentinel surveillance, improving data timeliness and completeness•Supported digital platforms, leading to improved streamlined data flows•Conducted epidemiological analysis, hotspot investigation & risk mapping to inform national strategic plans and community-level micro plans•Analyzed disease trends and case data to identify peaks/outbreaks, clusters, and anomalies. •Contributed to the COVID response via data analysis and real‑time reportingProgram & Grant Management•Managed a complex $203M multi‑country portfolio, delivering measurable gains in HIV, TB, & Malaria control and health systems performance.•Led cross‑functional teams to improve service delivery and health systems•Supported M&E plans, performance frameworks, & MEL implementation •Led program reviews & thematic evaluations, driving evidence‑based improvements in program design and service delivery.Health Systems Strengthening, strategic partnership, & system thinking•Development of national strategic plans, funding requests, and grant making •Strengthened oversight processes that contributed to stronger governance, better grant performance, and improved absorption of donor funds.•Design of integrated service delivery models•Building of partner capacity in results‑based management and systems thinking•Costing & budgeting of strategic and micro plans and local resource mobilization •Technical writing: manuals/SOP and training curricula for surveillance, vector control & case management•Design, piloting, rollout and management of community-based surveillance•Mapping, training, and expansion of CHW networks within the context of integrationIf you’re working to ensure surveillance, M&E, health systems and service delivery are functional, impactful, usable, and aligned with national and donor priorities, let’s connect.
