I am a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, LLP with more than ten years of experience, specializing in corporate finance. Most of my practice involves helping our clients to obtain financing through capital and credit markets, negotiate debt instruments, comply with the various terms and conditions of their debt instruments and analyze significant transactions. I have also represented several clients in acquisitions and dispositions of assets, securities transactions and commercial transactions.While I truly enjoy the work I do, the best part of my practice is getting to know and work with so many great people and having the chance to learn about our their business. I particularly appreciate working directly with our clients to come up with creative solutions to help them achieve their objectives.In addition to working with our clients to meet their business objectives, I am also committed to providing pro bono services and increasing diversity within our industry.One of the great things about being a lawyer is having the chance to give something back and help prepare the way for others. Before joining Akin Gump, I had the privilege of serving as a federal judicial clerk in the Southern District of Texas. That experience not only provided invaluable insight into our legal system, but also the opportunity to observe some of the best lawyers from around the country.I have a BA in economics from Stanford University and a JD from the University of Houston Law Center. I am always interested in hearing from former classmates and reconnecting with former colleagues.
