ABOUT ERIC MARCELINE
Bringing the living world back to the heart of human, economic and creative decisions — this has been the guiding thread of my journey. With a background in ecological engineering & biodiversity, HR & social innovation, and luxury & design management, I’ve developed an understanding that bridges multiple worlds — biodiversity, creation, strategy, and people. In recent years, I’ve contributed to a wide range of sustainability projects — especially in biodiversity, but not exclusively — within demanding, interdisciplinary environments: leading biodiversity frameworks (SBTN, GBS), supporting ESG reporting (CSRD, DPEF), designing awareness tools, and facilitating hybrid teams. Whether at Hermès, Kering, Nespresso, or in the public sector, I’ve learned to translate eco-social challenges into collective dynamics that are both rigorous and sensitive. I believe in an approach to sustainability that connects professions, creativity, place, and imagination — an approach that goes beyond ticking boxes, and sparks dialogue between fieldwork and strategy, scientific expertise and human intuition. Today, I continue along this path with commitment, staying attuned to the projects, encounters, and organisations — whether cautious or bold — that seek to move toward a more just relationship with the living world.
