Hi, I’m Eric Maisel, a creativity expert and author of over 50 books. I’ve spent my life exploring and supporting creativity in people around the world.I’ve written many influential books on creativity and personal growth, such as “Unleashing the Artist Within” and “The Creativity Workbook for Coaches and Creatives” in 2020, and “Transformational Journaling for Coaches, Therapists and Clients” and “The Great Book of Journaling” in 2021.As America’s leading creativity coach, I’ve shared my insights on the creative process and the challenges that creatives face. I’ve also helped writers with books like “Deep Writing” and “A Writer’s Paris”.Besides creativity, I’ve also written about critical psychology and critical psychiatry, calling for radical changes in mental health care. Books like “Rethinking Depression” and “The Future of Mental Health” show my vision for a better mental health system.I’m excited to collaborate with Noble Manhattan to launch innovative programs on creativity coaching and existential wellness. Our Creativity Coaching Program helps creative people overcome their obstacles and express themselves. Our new Existential Wellness Program combines existential philosophy with wellness strategies, offering a powerful way to live a meaningful and fulfilled life. I lead workshops for writers in amazing cities and write online, including a popular blog on Psychology Today with over 3 million views. I also love training creativity coaches and speaking at conferences and organizations. In 2024, I’m releasing new books that will inspire, heal, and empower you- “Affirmations for Self-Love: A Motivational Journal” with prompts to boost your self-esteem and positivity- “Parents Who Bully: A Healing Guide” with strategies to recover from abusive parents- “Choose Your Life Purposes: A Step-by-Step Guide” with tips to find and follow your life’s purposes.I live in California, where I enjoy writing, coaching, and grandkid babysitting.
