ABOUT ERIC TALBOT
As a partner in our assurance group at PwC I have over 15 years of experience providing audit and accounting advisory services. I provide audit services mainly to public companies in the resources industry and provide accounting advisory services to help clients of various sizes across many industries find practical solutions to complex accounting issues.I have enjoyed working in the mining industry throughout my career with companies at all stages of the mining life cycle both in Vancouver and Perth Australia. My experience includes: annual financial statement audits, acquisitions and business combinations, debt and equity financings, financial reporting under both IFRS and US GAAP and internal controls over financial reporting. I also enjoy the opportunities I get to present training courses on IFRS and audit-related technical topics.I am also the audit and risk committee chair for the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum and a former director and chair of the HR and Finance Committee of bc211 a non-profit information and referral service available 24 hours a day to provide people with access to community, government and social services.
