During this role, my scope has expanded to managing expense as well as involvement in M&A, while continuing to develop the topline finance role. I was actively involved in Entrata\'s acquisition of Rent Dynamics, partnering with Investment Banks and Entrata\'s PE-backed firm to lead the internal bottoms-up revenue deal model that justified the purchase price. My management scope also expanded to lead the team over G&A expense, partnering with Finance, People, and Legal teams on budgets and headcount. I continue to dive deeper into understanding Entrata\'s revenue engine, specifically tracking the lifecycle of ACV to revenue and plugging the gaps that prevent a sale from turning into billings.
