About Eric Long

I am an extremely motivated and self-directed IT leader with a great thirst for learning and I love absorbing new technologies. I fundamentally believe that technology should make our lives better, whether that is improving operational efficiency, increasing functionality, reducing costs, reducing human error, or improving the bottom line. I am extremely intuitive, constantly looking outside the box for new ways to solve problems that impact the organization and I thrive under challenging conditions.I have had a number of great opportunities in my 20+ year IT career. I\'ve ran the gamut from being an independent consultant to large multinational clients such as Microsoft, XPO Logistics, and Con-Way to leading IT operations and hiring and mentoring technical staff in the high tech and financial industries as the world migrated to the Cloud. These experiences have given me a wide breadth of technical skills, as well as soft skills that have brought me praise and appreciation from every company I have worked for. I am regularly recognized for my technical versatility, humor, cheerful and responsive attitude, patience, the ability to work well with others, as well as my tireless self-motivation to bring value to clients and continually improve my skills.
